Crock-Pot Turkey


INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Turkey, 5 - 7lbs, thawed and cleaned
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sage


PREPARATION
  1. Prep rub. Salt, pepper, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder and sage.
  2. Prep turkey. Butter under skin, olive oil on top. Season with rub mixture.
  3. Cover bottom of crock-pot with chicken broth and gently lower in turkey.
  4. Cook on low heat for 10 hours.
